The Live Blood Workshop: How This Was Always the Destination

We are excited to announce we are opening a small group Live Blood Analysis immersion workshop here at Living Ground in southern Ecuador. This is an experience where people come to learn how to observe their own blood in real time, understand what they are seeing, and begin to make informed decisions for themselves from that place of direct awareness. This is not separate from what we have been doing here at the Project Site. It is the expression of it coming together.

Living Ground was never meant to be just a café, or a garden, or a collection of products. It is a place rooted in the understanding that soil, plants, food, and the human body are part of one continuous system, and that when you begin to see those relationships clearly, something shifts. You move from being told what is happening to being able to observe and understand it for yourself.

This workshop is the point where all of that comes together for us.

When I first arrived at the Project Site three years ago, I was told that a gas station was interested in purchasing the land. The land had already been used hard, already carrying the imprint of what had been done to it, and to me it felt like the smallest ones, the ones no one sees and yet everything depends on, needed a fighting chance. The microbes were gasping with pollution. The soil was not dead but it was waiting. I could feel that if given the right conditions, it would respond.

At that time there was a small group of us, people who cared about soil, plants, medicine, and health. There was energy around it, a sense that something meaningful could be built, and I was encouraged to step forward.

Being the oldest, I understood what it would actually take. Not the idea of it, but the work of it. I knew it would require time, consistency, and a level of commitment that most people do not fully see at the beginning.

I agreed to move forward only if we could raise the funds, because I had none. Through fundraising and an angel loan, we did it. That was three years ago. And, I remember thinking, oh my gosh, what have I got myself into

As I fully expected, over time, people from that core group moved on. I had the ultimate committment, and I remained. Not because it was easy, and not because I had the resources, but because I could see what this place could become. I had a vision that was clear. Even when I did not know how it would happen, I could see the direction clearly enough to keep going.

In the beginning, I thought this was about soil regeneration, and it was, that is where we started and about where it needed to start. We worked the land, learned how to build diversity, how to create conditions where life could organize itself again.

Slowly it became clear that this was not only about soil. It was about self reliance in its fullest expression. The soil, the plants, the food, the medicines, and the human body are not separate systems. They are one continuous relationship, all guided by the same underlying patterns. The same microbial relationships that build soil are the ones that shape the internal terrain of the body. When you begin to understand that, everything shifts.

This place became an opportunity to explore that in a real way. To move beyond differences and work together toward something that supports everyone. To create a space where knowledge is shared in a way that allows people to think for themselves and make their own decisions.

While we were rebuilding the land, I was also busy writing. If we could one day teach, I needed manuals for the ciriculum. So, out came books on the soil microbiome, the human microbiome, herbs, health, and Live Blood Analysis. Those books were never meant to stand alone. They were the foundation for something that could be experienced, something that could be lived rather than just read. And, they are all published on Amazon.

If this was going to be an education center, then people needed to be able to come here and learn. That meant we needed to feed people, so we began making food and teaching the women how to produce what we were growing. That turned into the Gratitude café, something I had not planned on, yet it became necessary.

Then came the accommodations. The building had been stripped of everything, and I mean everything, so we rebuilt it piece by piece. Now the Hostel rooms are ready, the café is running, and the land is alive.

At the same time, we are navigating the reality of regulations that make it very difficult for small producers to exist. It sure puts a wrench in all our work.

Due to local permit regulations, w are being asked to remove our products from the shelves because each one requires its own permit. This something that is far beyond what we can afford. We can serve the same foods on a plate in our cafe, but we cannot package them, even though that is central to what we are creating.

So we are adjusting, doing what we can to comply, and trying to find a way forward without losing the essence of what this is.

And I will be honest, I am tired. There has been a constant level of responsibility, pressure, and financial stretch that does not ease. It is affecting my overall health and I know it is time to reach the next level.

So, I continue to support this with what little income I have because I can see how close we are. That is what keeps me here. Not ease, not certainty, but the clarity of what this can become and how important it is in today’s world.

From the very beginning, I saw people here. I saw the educational component. I saw people learning, observing, understanding something for themselves that cannot be given through explanation alone. That has always been the direction, even when it did not look like it on the surface.

It is time to offer the workshops and mature into what we started.

So, what first? What workshop should we offer? I look at the books on amazon. I do not promote them, I do not run ads. Yet the Live Blood Analysis book has been moving quietly on its own. It is not a large income, but it is consistent enough to show me that people are looking for a way to understand their own bodies in a more direct way. This book costs $50 and Amazon gives me $8. But, I get a little royalty check between $100 and $150 each month.

So, that information has led to realize that people want to learn this art to take care of themselves and their loved ones. I am fully prepared to do this.

In this workshop, I will be teaching how to observe the living blood, how to recognize patterns and relationships, and how to connect what you are seeing to the choices you make every day. Food, herbs, lifestyle, all of it becomes more clear when you can see how your internal terrain is responding in real time.

This is not about giving answers, it is about developing the ability to see for yourself.

This is the mountain top I have been moving toward since the beginning. Everything here has been built to support this, even when it did not look that way at the time.

Now we are ready to receive people. We can feed you from the land, we can house you here, and we can share this work in a way that is grounded, practical, and real.

What I do not have is reach. So, I reach out. The reality is that social media does not easily carry something like this outward, and I am still a small voice within that system.

So I am asking for help.

If this resonates with you, if you understand the value of people being able to see and understand their own internal terrain, then please share this workshop. It could be just the link to the landing page (below) or an email to a friend. Send it to someone who would benefit. Post it where it can be seen. Help us move this beyond the limits of algorithms and into the hands of the people who are looking for it.

We are very close to something that matters, not just for this place, but for what it represents, and this is the step that allows it to continue.
