The Map Behind Live Blood Analysis

I have been working with Live Blood Analysis for a long time, and every person who sits in front of me adds another piece to what I understand. I do not just look at a marker, name it and move on. I look at the person who is presenting, their history, what they are feeling, what else is showing in the blood, what systems seem to be under pressure, what has changed, what might be influencing it, and what I would actually consider doing about it.

From creating an online course, to offering in-person Live Blood workshops, to writing books and working through case after case, I have accumulated a ridiculous amount of information over the years. I have databases of Live Blood markers, grades, descriptions, what they may mean, what other markers they connect with, body systems, health questions, herbs, tinctures, compounds, foods, microbiome support and protocols. Some of it is in my books, some in student material, some in client reports, some in spreadsheets, and a lot of it has simply become part of how my brain works when I am studying a case.

The problem has never really been a lack of information. The problem has been how to organize all of it so another person can see what I am seeing and understand why I am making the connections I make. That is what this app has become.

Mapping Live Blood Analysis

I think of Live Blood Analysis almost like mapping. You can learn to recognize rouleau, fibrin, codocytes, crystals, protrusions, fermentation, changes in red blood cell shape and all the other individual markers, but knowing the names is only the beginning. What matters is where those markers lead when you start following them through the rest of the case.

A marker may point me toward digestion, but then another marker may bring in bile flow, and something in the intake may make me look more closely at fat digestion, minerals or the microbiome. Another finding may connect that back to circulation, the kidneys or the way the person is eliminating metabolic waste. When several things begin pointing in the same direction, the case starts to make sense in a completely different way.

This is the part that is difficult to teach from a book alone because much of it happens while I am looking at an actual person. I am constantly comparing what I see under the microscope with what I know about them, what other markers are present and what I have learned from other cases over the years.

The app is my attempt to put that thinking somewhere outside of my own head and into the brains of others.

The Brain Behind the Data

I started by organizing the marker database properly. Each marker has information about what it looks like, how it is graded, what the different grades mean, what I associate it with, which systems may be involved and which other markers make the finding more interesting.

Then I started connecting that information to the intake. If someone has a particular marker and also reports certain digestive, liver, kidney, circulation, sleep, hormone or other concerns, that changes how I look at the finding. The app can begin making those connections because the relationships are actually built into the data behind it.

Then came the recommendations. I have been adding the herbs, tinctures, compounds, microbiome support, foods, minerals and practical things that I might consider when a particular combination presents. I still have a lot of work to do here because I want the language to sound like me and reflect how I actually work with people, not like some clinical recommendation engine.

What excites me is that all of this information can now talk to itself. The marker database, the intake, the relationships between markers, the analysis rules and the recommendations are no longer sitting in separate spreadsheets or separate parts of my brain. They are beginning to function together.

That is probably the best description of the app. It is the brain of my Live Blood work made visible.

How the App Works

You begin by creating a case and entering some basic information about the person. There is a health intake, but I have tried to keep it useful rather than turning it into an exhausting medical questionnaire. Additional questions open when they are relevant, which means the intake can become more detailed where the case actually needs it.

Then you move into the blood and record the markers observed. You can assign grades and add your own notes. You can upload microscope photographs directly with the marker. The photographs stay connected to the case, which I think will be particularly valuable for students or practictionser who are building experience because they can go back later and see exactly what they recorded.

Once the markers are entered, the app starts bringing the information together. It looks at what was observed, the grades, the health information and the relationships I have built into the database. From there it begins identifying the areas that seem to deserve the greatest attention and shows the supporting information behind those conclusions.

I did not want it to become a machine that says, “You saw this marker, therefore this is the answer.” That would completely miss the reason I use Live Blood Analysis in the first place. That was a lot of frustration to deal with for me. The value is in being able to look at the whole presentation and ask why several different things may be appearing together.

Terrain Is Part of the Map

The terrain perspective sits underneath all of this because I do not see the blood as something separate from the rest of the body. Digestion, the microbiome, bile, minerals, hydration, circulation, lymphatic movement, the nervous system, food, sleep, environmental exposures and the body’s ability to process and eliminate waste are constantly influencing one another.

If I see a marker that may relate to poor nutrient utilization, I want to know what digestion looks like. If I see changes that make me think about bile, I want to know what else supports that possibility. If the blood is showing significant metabolic debris or crystal patterns, I want to know what the kidneys, liver, hydration and elimination pathways are doing within the larger picture.

This is where the app becomes much more interesting than a marker reference guide. It is trying to map the relationships, not just define the objects under the microscope.

Alongside the marker database, I have also built a growing database of herbs, tinctures, compounds, foods, microbiome support and other practical solutions that I actually use in my work. The important part is not simply having a long list of remedies, but knowing why I might choose one over another in a particular case. I have connected these recommendations back to the markers, body systems and health information that make them relevant, so the app can begin showing not just what may be presenting, but what I would realistically consider doing about it. This part is still evolving because I want the language and recommendations to reflect how I actually work with people, but it is becoming a very useful map of the practical side of Live Blood Analysis.

Building Reports From the Case

Another part I wanted was the ability to turn the completed case into something readable for the person whose blood was examined. My reports have always been much more than a list of markers, so I did not want the app to generate a little technical summary that nobody really understands.

The report brings in the person’s information, the markers that were observed, explanations of what those markers mean, their microscope photographs, the broader analysis and the recommendations. It can then be printed or saved as a PDF, with the Living Ground information attached to it.

For students, this is also another teaching layer. It forces you to move from “I saw something” into being able to explain what you saw, why it may matter and how it relates to the rest of the case.

Everything I Have Learned, Still Growing

This app is not finished in the sense that I do not think it will ever be finished. Every person I study teaches me something else, and every time I see a marker behave differently within a different terrain, I have another piece of information to add.

What is different now is that I finally have somewhere to put it all. Instead of another note, another spreadsheet or another piece of information living only inside my own way of thinking, it can become part of a larger teaching system that other people can actually use.

That is exciting to me because Live Blood Analysis has never been about memorizing pictures. It is about learning how to observe, how to ask better questions and how to understand what the blood may be showing within the context of a real human being.
